FBI Season 6 Episode 4 Recap

In the episode, the team is called to a shooting outside of a courthouse that happened during the day. Special Agent OA is having a rough time in his personal life because he just broke up with his girlfriend Gemma after her friend died in a terrible accident.

As OA deals with the effects of the breakup, he and Special Agent Maggie Bell are asked to look into the death of Judge Charles Pollan. The shooter, a man from the Middle East, pointed the gun at the judge and read a passage from Islamic literature before running away.

Since there isn’t much proof, the team focuses on a suspect who is linked to an Islamic school in the area. But their first suspect, a man who had written threatening letters to the judge, has a very good excuse for not being there. Haseeb Khalil, a secret FBI agent who has been watching the Islamic center for signs of terrorism, is then blamed.

As OA and Maggie dig deeper, they find out that Hassan hired Adil Kasem, a young man who was weak, to break into the center. Hassan didn’t know about the killings, though, because Adil became radicalized.

When Adil goes after a politician, James Minardi, for revenge, the case takes a dramatic turn. During a heated fight, Hassan is shot while trying to catch Adil. In the end, Hassan kills Adil in self-defense.

After the event, OA meets Hassan and tells him that he knew Hassan had tricked Adil into becoming a terrorist. Hassan tries to explain away what he did, but OA makes sure that Hassan is jailed for his part in what happened.

At the end of the show, OA is sad and thinking about how hard his day has been. The case put his professional skills to the test, as well as his personal views and sense of right and wrong.
