During the episode that aired tonight on FBI, Special Agent Forrester (Luke Kleintank) and his group was working to help the Nyc office solve a case. They boarded a flight to Rome in order to continue working on the case alongside Special Agent Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten) and Jubal (Jeremy Sisto). However, there was a mistake made. They did not resolve the matter to anyone’s satisfaction. The villains managed to escape. The guy they were searching for was found dead after being subjected to cruel and unusual punishment.  Additionally, Nina was hurt. Due to the fact that she was injured while abroad, Jubal desired to accompany her. He was of the opinion that Scola should be informed of what took place. Isobel, on the other hand, was opposed to that decision. Isobel gave Jubal permission to go back to New York in order to deal with the imminent threat that was there. In addition, she instructed him not to discuss Nina with Scola. She stated that Scola was conducting a covert operation and that he did not require a diversion at this time. FBI Season 5 Episode 17 Recap: Part 2

In that particular incident, Isobel was the only one who was in the trouble. It was one thing to basically give up on Nina when she was in the hospital fighting for her life. At the very least, they should have informed Scola about what had happened. Isobel was aware that Nina was pregnant the whole time. She was carrying Scola’s child, and she put the welfare of her unborn child ahead of Scola’s involvement in the case. Scola had posed as a C4 dealer in his undercover operation. It was expected of him to find out why the buyer required it as well as the time frame in which it was to be utilized. And he was being denied access to it. The purported purchaser continually offered up explanations. Either Nico was starting to play with Scola or he had another seller on the side. Because Nico coerced Scola into using drugs the last time they were together, Scola was incapable of providing an accurate answer.

Scola subsequently informed everyone about what had transpired with Jubal. In most cases, it was against the company policy for agencies to take something more potent than an Advil. They will make an exception in certain circumstances, such as when agents are coerced into it in order to maintain their cover. They didn’t tell Scola about Nina, so they let this one go too. The poor guy couldn’t stop inquiring about Nina. Scola has been attempting to contact her through the phone. Because she was ignoring his calls and texts, he became concerned about her whereabouts. Isobel was the one he questioned about Nina’s well-being. Isobel claimed that she was. After some time had passed, he questioned Jubal regarding Nina’s well-being and inquired as to whether or not she had returned home with him. Jubal had to invent a backstory in which Nina was still in Rome taking care of bureaucratic matters.

However, Scola later learned that an FBI agent had been shot while working abroad. In point of fact, Nico was the one who disclosed this information to him. Nico had at long last presented Scola to his employer, Andre Chernin, but Andre just wasn’t “feeling” him. The manager stated that he had an uneasy feeling about Scola and wanted to back out of the entire transaction because of it. Nico had to be questioned by Scola about what had happened, and Nico tried to explain that the people Scola’s boss was involved with had become restless after attempting to shoot an FBI Agent in Rome. Scola had no choice but to inquire about what had occurred. Then after the meeting, Scola questioned Maggie and OA to see if they were aware of the recent shooting that took place. They told him that they hadn’t because Isobel and Jubal were keeping everyone in the dark about what had happened. They were the only ones who knew the truth about what took place in Rome.

Maggie and OA both made the decision to follow Chernin. Because he was able to see them, they must have been too close for his comfort. They started chasing after him as he ran away, but he managed to get away. They were determined to catch him. They opened fire on his vehicle as soon as he got inside of one. They essentially dragged him off the road and arrested him after taking him into custody. To further question him, they took him back to their office, where a representative from the State Department soon arrived. The fresh face demanded unrestricted access to Chernin. And during that time, he put Chernin through a series of ordeals designed to drive him insane. Jubal’s information came from the ADIC, and it stated that they were supposed to assist with this case. He made the decision to interrupt Chernin’s interrogation, which gave Chernin enough time to commit suicide during the distraction. Because he was so terrified of the other people he was starting to work with. Only because there was a lot of talk about it on the internet did his torment get the go-ahead to be carried out.

The State Department has come to the conclusion that the Belarusians were plotting an attack of comparable magnitude to that of September 11. They also claimed that Jubal would be to blame in the event that it occurred because he had disrupted them while they were “working” on their one and only lead. Scola was the only one who thought they were exaggerating the significance of what was happening. He has been talking with Nico for several weeks at this point. There wasn’t enough C4 that Nico wanted to use for another 9/11. When Scola investigated Nico’s account, he discovered that the man was requesting a significantly smaller amount of money that had been coordinated, and as a result, Scola was eager to protect his team against unjust accusations. He dialed Forrester’s number. Forrester was the one who informed him that shots had been fired and that Nina was in critical condition. It was inconceivable to him that Isobel and Jubal would deceive him in any way. They were faced by him. He told them that they’d had no right to conceal Nina’s situation from him.

Isobel continued by explaining to him that as his boss, she had the authority to make decisions like that. Scola was also posing as someone else. He couldn’t just up and move to Rome to be with Nina like that. He could not lose focus on the investigation. The same investigation obtained new information. This one appeared to come out of nowhere. The Belarusians interrupted their hectic schedule in order to kidnap a woman from the United States. Her name is Allison Green. She held a high-ranking position in human resources. She does not have any connections to Belarus or to the Russians. Even C4 couldn’t find a source for her. Since it was unclear why they would kidnap her, Isobel turned the investigation over to Remy and his team so that they could figure out what was going on.

The manhunters belonged to Remy’s people. They went on the hunt for the terrorists and discovered that Nico was involved in more activities than he let on. Allison had been kidnapped, and Nico was a participant. When he returned to his supposedly empty apartment building, they followed the car he had taken there. Except that it wasn’t true. Nico was allowing the Russians to continue their stay in the building. The FBI made an attempt to break up the party, during which they detained a few individuals but were unable to locate Lenkov once more. Lenkov managed to get away in a dark van. The search for Allison continued without success, but they did uncover a plot to kill the President of the United States by Russian agents.
