FBI Season 4 Episode 20 Recap

Cher Wilkins, A TSA agent was killed. The assassin wasn’t alone. The fact that two pairs of footprints were found near the body ruled out robbery. Nothing was taken from the victim. They left a car and her pocketbook. This death seemed odd. The FBI investigated it. The FBI immediately discovered the victim had recently started flashing large sums. Her supervisor was skeptical because he believed that when a TSA agent started throwing money around, it meant they agreed to support drug mules. He stated Wilkins arrived in a flashy car. She couldn’t afford it on her own. Wilkins was usually broke, so she hadn’t been saving. She said her father died. She informed her boss she got some money that way, and the FBI investigated. Her father lived. He lived. Upon learning of his daughter’s death, he tweeted it. He couldn’t leave her money in his will, so she got nearly $40,000 by dishonest ways. Her employer mistook it for a drug ring. The FBI had other ideas.

She got a showy automobile before she died. She needed to sell the car to reimburse someone. Wilkins had apparently met someone on the dark web. She made a deal. A transaction she wished to cancel. She felt she had to after her boss became suspicious of her, so whoever she was with murdered her to keep their secret hidden. Wilkins suspected narcotics. She allowed a man in with a questionable backpack. The FBI located him. They found him. They questioned him as well. Jorge stated he was paid $5,000 to smuggle heroin through the airport. He took it to Chicago and dumped it in the trash outside the airport. Jorge didn’t open the bag. It was zip-tied. Jorge was only told it was drugged and he’d get $5,000. He hasn’t been paid. But he was supposed to meet his boss. Jem Polat, according to Jorge. Polat is Turkish. He grew up in Syria. He came over on a temporary visa two years ago and launched a restaurant.

OA suspected another man. Tamir Hazara. Terrorist Hazara was purportedly killed by a drone attack, but only OA thought he was alive. OA and his Afghan crew had pursued him. They searched for him diligently, and OA lost a buddy. It was the ninth anniversary of Tom’s death. On the anniversary, he and his old military friends would visit the grave, eat lunch, and wear a piece of thread around their fingers. So OA wasn’t really clear when he said he saw Hazara. Nina was with him. She mentioned his late acquaintance. She even caught a peek of the alleged terrorist. He didn’t look like him. She assumed he was still mourning. Nina would have left it there if OA had. Only OA claimed Hazara was involved. The real case was risked to establish a fake one. She told Jubal. She hadn’t asked for anything specific against OA, so she kept Jubal informed. Jorge wasn’t transporting drugs, the FBI discovered.

Jorge was requested to make another delivery. They got Polat to reveal he had an insider in TSA besides Wilkins. She died. So she had to be replaced. Polat was arrested. He was fingered. He wasn’t Polat. He was Afghan. A veteran of the Afghan and Soviet Wars. Someone who fought the Americans. Polat was now ready to perform a terrorist act on US soil. Polat retorted. He was even using his alias. The most he would disclose about his charges was that there were no innocent victims. The Americans slaughtered many. Polat felt obligated to repay the favor. Ask Polat about Hazara. Polat needed a lawyer. But everyone assumed OA was insane. Nothing about Hazara. OA performed some side research. He found Hazara. He found himself. The FBI discovered the new TSA Agent was only aiding because his wife and son had been taken. They threatened to harm his family if he didn’t deliver their cargo. OA discovered them. He found them by really finding Hazara. Hazara wasn’t dead. The OA breaking down his door with support saved the TSA Agent’s family. It also ended Hazara. OA killed him, putting an end to Hazara terrorism. Nina even apologized to OA for her doubts. They were newbies. She didn’t know him well, so if it had been Maggie, things could have gone differently.
