FBI: International Season 2 Episode 6 Recap

A friend of Special Agent Cameron Vo,  Paige Taylor contacted her tonight. Taylor was searching for his lost nephew. Both of them were Americans. Taylor’s job on the American base there required them to live in Crete, and Kody was only living with his aunt because his parents couldn’t care for him. His dad was in rehab right now. Addiction has been a concern for the entire family. Taylor was the right person. She sent Kody to Greece in an effort to get him away from everything, but by doing so, she made it simpler for him to leap from one bad situation to another. In Greece, Kody didn’t really make any friends. The failure of homeschooling was another factor. When Taylor transferred to boarding school the next year, he believed that this archaeology program would help him fit in.

It was Kody who first mentioned this program. He said that he learned about it on social media. Additionally, he requested her to drop him off and tell the program administrators that they would pick them up later. Taylor has never met any participants in this program. Or even the other children who were purportedly present. She hardly glanced over the webpage and decided to accept Kody’s claim that he was finally making friends in Greece. Taylor didn’t notice her adolescent nephew was missing in Greece until he missed the second one and she went to the school, where she discovered it was shuttered and had been for years. If he was still in Greece, that is. She resorted to the neighborhood police since she didn’t know where he was. Because Kody was considered a runaway, they said they were unable to intervene. After that, she looked towards the American Embassy. They also informed her of the nearby FBI unit. At about that time, Taylor contacted Vo. She asked her old buddy for assistance in finding her nephew, and while doing so, they made an unfortunate discovery. They learned that Kody had connections to the Typhon Faction. They are even referred to be as terrorist organizations. He even began tossing objects at the neighborhood cops.

The situation then deteriorated worse. Kody was taken to an abandoned farmhouse by the TF. He was dragged into their terrorist group by them. They beat him till he felt like one of them by doing it. Not long after this beating, Kody used his phone to call his aunt in need of help. Using that, the FBI and local police were able to locate the phone and discover a gory farmhouse. Kody was assaulted. But he was still alive. He further said that after learning that the terrorists were planning to blow a festival, he fled from the group. He maintains that as he leapt out of a moving car, Vo and Kellet immediately realised he was lying. The festival was investigated by the FBI. They were aware that no terrorist act was intended to target it. Kody has told them at least two falsehoods, so far. When the FBI had had enough, they arrested Kody. He was questioned about what actually occurred. When Kody made a confession, Vo had just strapped him to a polygraph machine and was about to interview him once again. What truly transpired was disclosed by Kody. According to him, the terrorists only beat him up because they needed to enter an American military post and he needed to be hurt in order to do it.

The Americans’ agreement with the Greek government to increase their military presence there infuriated the terrorists. Taylor was unaware that Kody entered the facility with a grenade. The base was warned by the FBI. Even when Vo and Kellet went there, they came under fire from the TF. They were powerless to avert the bomb’s explosion. However, they were able to stop it before it destroyed the entire base. Later, Taylor sought Vo’s assistance in trying to downgrade Kody’s charges. Vo also wasn’t helpful. Kody was being sent to the United States for deportation to fulfil his sentence in a juvenile institution. And yet, as a result of that, Taylor broke up her friendship with Vo. On this case, Special Agent Forrester wasn’t working with his group. He assisted the father of his little friend Zsolt while remaining in Hungary. He managed to rescue the father from the neighbourhood gang, allowing Zsolt and his family to live in peace. A benefit of their employment may thus occasionally exist.
