Chicago Fire Season 12 Episode 9 Recap: Mouch’s Wife Trudy Faces a Terrifying Attack

In the most recent and exciting episode of Chicago Fire , called “Something About Her,” viewers are taken on a wild ride of tough challenges, personal problems, and heroic acts as the firefighters of Firehouse 51 deal with a string of emergencies.

Chicago Fire Season 12 Episode 9 Recap

At the beginning of the episode James, who used to be Chief Boden’s stepson, is working at the fire station. Having worked long hours for a rideshare company before, he took on this second job to make extra cash. Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) still cares greatly about James, even though he and James’s mother are no longer together. He offers James a job to help him get back on his feet and find his own place.

At the same time, a new paramedic joins the team. Her training was slowed down because she was seeing a married teacher. In spite of this scandal, she shows her skills when she answers the call for a huge fire at a recording studio and finds the body of Dale Smith. The studio manager is stuck, but she and her coworkers are able to free her.

As Lieutenant Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) looks into the fire, he thinks there was foul play, especially since more than one starting place has been found. They say that Dale is a client who shouldn’t have been there because they thought he was the studio boss. The owner, Mr. Nicholson, says that there are still problems with a rapper client named Antoine Kennedy, who Wyatt had to kick out of the studio for bringing drugs.

Severide goes after Antoine as a suspect, finds out that he has a connection to guns, and finally confronts him. But Antoine says he has nothing to do with it, which shows Wyatt’s plan to charge more for lessons and keep the money for himself.

At the same time, Violet is having trouble with the new nurse, who is flirting with Carver without knowing about their relationship. During a call about a child being shot by another child, the new paramedic shows Violet how good she is at calming things down, which earns Violet’s respect even though they don’t agree on everything.

As the investigation goes on, Severide learns about Wyatt’s plan to rob the studio and set the fire to hide his tracks. Wyatt’s death shows that he lied to his friend and business partner, leaving behind a web of lies.

Mouch (Christian Stolte) gets into a dangerous position when he tries to help a woman through Brett’s special program. This is a scary side story to the episode. Even though he means well, the woman becomes obsessed with him and acts in more and more troubling ways.

She becomes more and more obsessed as she goes to the firehouse over and over again, even sleeping in Mouch’s bunk during emergency calls. She makes things even scarier when she goes to Mouch’s house with the plan to hurt his wife Trudy Platt (Amy Morton).

Chicago Fire Season 12 Episode 9 Trudy-

A tragedy could have happened, but Trudy’s strong instincts and quick thinking stopped it. When she sees the danger, she acts quickly and decisively, eventually arresting the woman for attempted murder. It turns out that this isn’t the first time the woman has been violent; she was charged with a similar crime before and sent to a mental health center.

The woman’s rule of terror ends when Trudy steps in, protecting Mouch and his family. This scary subplot serves as a warning of how unpredictable and dangerous the firefighters’ lives are, both on and off the job. At the end of the show, James talks about how negligent renters have caused him financial problems, which prompts Boden to offer his help in cleaning up the mess.

Chicago Fire Season 12 Episode 10: Return Date Hopes

Chicago Fire will not have any new episodes for a few weeks. The show may return on April 24, but May 1 is more likely. Even though there was a wait, fans can look forward to exciting things happening before the season ends. Plus, season 13 was picked up early, so there’s even more to look forward to.

Great news for “Chicago Fire” fans! A report from Deadline says that Michael Bradway from “Marked Men” will be joining Season 12’s cast in a recurring part. In episode 10, he will make his first appearance as the charming fireman Jack Damon. There’s talk that he could even become a series regular in the next season.
