Young Justice Season 4 Episodes 16 Recap

Orin dispatched Kaldur, Wyynde, and Garth on a quest to recover Arion’s crown in the previous episode. They couldn’t figure out whether he was truly Arion, though. They couldn’t confirm it because they didn’t have Vandal or Cassandra’s DNA. Orin became distrustful of Orm. He asked Orm a few questions and discovered it wasn’t his brother. Vandal has been sending clones to Atlantis after destroying the Child. Furthermore, Orin’s doubts were fueled by the time of Arion’s arrival. As a result, Orin resolved to embark on a quest to discover the truth. Furthermore, Beast Boy and Megan were still dealing with Connor’s death. Beast Boy disconnected from everyone and began self-medicating by sleeping in his bed all day. Megan attempted but failed, to stage an intervention for Beast Boy. Everyone who tried to communicate with Beast was shot down. Megan informed him that if he did not attend a therapy appointment with Black Canary as ordered by Black Lightning, he would be kicked out of the League and the Outsiders. Meanwhile, Connor was shown in some sort of purgatory, yet he was not totally dead. He was stuck in the far reaches of space alongside another female superhero. Wally, Megan, Clark, and an evil version of himself appeared to Connor in his dreams. Purgatory was preying on his worries by bringing him objects that would kill him. Connor does not appear to be a spirit or a ghost. He appeared to be stuck in the Phantom Zone.
