Yellowstone Season 5

Season five of the hit Western drama Yellowstone is set to premiere sooner than fans expected, according to a recent interview with the show’s creator Taylor Sheridan. Despite its rustic tale being far removed from metropolitan realities, the show has acquired a new audience in big cities on the East and West coasts.

The showrunner on the Kevin Costner-led series, Taylor Sheridan, recently spoke to Variety about the new episodes. While Taylor didn’t say so, the article claims that the upcoming season will have a “late summer premiere date.” That means Yellowstone Season 5 ll most likely be released around August or September 2022, rather than later in the year as originally planned.

Yellowstone’s executive producer, David Glasser, announced at the start of the year that not only had work on the fifth season’s screenplay begun but that the next season would debut sometime in the fall.

“I think the show is still maturing, and there’s still a lot of stories to tell,” he said. “I know with Taylor, he’s got a lot to say and a lot to write. He’s deep into season five of Yellowstone now. He’s got some incredible ideas that he shared that I think audiences are going to be really excited about.”

This prompted many to conclude that Paramount executives were once again seeking an early November launch date. Season four, as fans will recall, defied precedent by premiering in November rather than June, as the first three installments did, in order to better align with the television season.

During the chat, it was also hinted that season five will be the “largest yet” for the show. The next installment will be split into two seven-episode parts, making it 14 episodes instead of the usual ten.
