Walker Season 2 Episode 2 Recap

The episode picks up where the last one left off, with a tense confrontation between Micki undercover, Serrano, and the new informant, who was the one who got away. Following the tense incident, Micki departs with Garrison, where we learn more about their past and Cordell ponders how Micki knows the informant. If he is granted immunity, Garrison is willing to collaborate with the Rangers. He has evidence that will lead to Serrano’s detention. Cordell and Captain James are waiting for Micki and Garrison when they return to his apartment. Garrison says he knows where a key leads to evidence. Denice agrees to a bargain when the guys return home, but she also flies out to check on things.

Micki and Cordell searched for the files, but one of Serrano’s thugs set fire to them, and Micki only managed to save one. Trey was occupied at home, juggling the lives of four teenagers. He divided them into two groups, Stella and Colton and Todd and August, and assigned them the task of finding a key and escaping a classroom. Garrison offers himself as bait to Serrano near the end of the episode. Micki quickly discovers evidence that Garrison was present the night Spider died, and she tracks him down and confronts him. She soon discovers that Serrano has tracked him down, and in order to prevent him from killing her, Garrison must assassinate Cordell. Shots are fired, they grapple, and he succumbs to his injuries. Micki appears to be in tears as she listens to the mixtape he made her, and Cordell consoles her. She and Walker share a solemn drink to bring the episode to a close.
