In response to the assassination, Albanian military units began mobilizing near the Serbian border while the Serbian government prepared for a possible invasion. Omega Sector recognized the potentially disastrous results of an armed conflict between two neighboring countries and took immediate steps to prevent it from spiraling out of control.

Susan Trilby, the head of Omega Sector, understood the delicate nature of the situation and needed a skilled operative to resolve it. After careful consideration, Trilby decided to enlist the aid of an infamous assassin known as Wolf to assist in her mission. While Luther, Gib, and Maria were delighted to work with such an accomplished assassin, Harry wasn’t sure about collaborating with Wolf.

Harry had met Wolf on a mission in Athens once and felt uneasy about him. Harry remembered that Wolf showed no emotions or compassion, his eyes lacking any trace of humanity. He casually executed victims without emotion or regret, leading Harry to believe Wolf was a cold-hearted psychopath with no conscience.

Harry had reservations, but the rest of the team was eager to have Wolf join them on this mission. Harry’s concerns highlighted some ethical and moral difficulties that can arise when selecting team members solely based on professional expertise without considering personal values and moral code. It is essential not only to select someone qualified for a given job but also to make sure they share similar principles as everyone else on board.

True Lies Episode 4 “Rival Companions” Recap

Helen was finding it difficult to adjust to life as the sole trainee in the Omega Sector, feeling isolated and without anyone to confide in. Even her colleague Harry, who had friends within the organization, often seemed too busy with work to offer any support or understanding. Helen craved someone with whom she could discuss things openly and share secrets, someone whom she could trust completely.

One day, Helen encountered Wolf in the canteen, who invited her to sit with him. Despite his reputation as an assassin, Wolf was warm and personable. They connected over their shared struggles – Helen sharing about her difficulty learning English while Wolf confesses his own experience as an outsider growing up.

Helen was pleasantly surprised to discover that The Wolf, despite his reputation, was actually quite friendly and approachable. When Helen asked him for his real name, he seemed touched that someone had taken an interest in him as a person.

Helen learned the value of not judging people based on their reputation or job title. Even those who seem intimidating or unapproachable may surprise us with their warmth and kindness. In the end, Wolf became just like her; she made a new friend in an unexpected place.

‘True Lies’ Episode 4 Ending, Explained

Wolf came prepared for his meeting with the Omega Sector team, having extensively researched the mission and developed theories about who might have launched it. While Harry speculated that Albanians may have been responsible, Wolf suggested a third party was likely involved due to the lack of signature weapons used by either side. Wolf speculated that these attackers may have been weapons dealers seeking to incite conflict between the two countries so they could profit by selling weapons to both sides.

Harry was taken aback when Wolf appeared unexpectedly at his home to check on him and offer to assist Helen with her training. Despite Harry’s reservations about Wolf’s character, he could not stop Helen from spending time with him.

After conducting further research, Wolf identified Ulrich Muller as the likely mastermind behind the assassination and predicted another attack in Washington D.C. The Omega Sector team pinpointed and prevented this next attempted assassination attempt; however, Serbia still launched a missile strike against Albania, escalating tensions between the two nations.

Gib breached the mainframe of a chemical plant where explosives were made and traced a purchase order to an Arlington warehouse. While considering breaching, Helen suggested that perhaps this may have been just another trap set by someone. In a brave move, Harry used his tactical van as a diversion while he and Wolf entered from another side and neutralized the assassins.

Helen was promoted to agent status for her invaluable contributions to the mission. Harry realized his misjudgment of Wolf’s character and reconciled with him, though he still struggled to comprehend how someone could remain hungry after such horrific crimes. Ultimately, both Helen and Harry came to appreciate Wolf’s unique perspective and are thankful for all he did for their team’s success.
