Thor: Love & Thunder Online Release Date Confirmed

Thor Love and Thunder Thor 4

Thor: Love and Thunder mark Taika Waititi’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after directing 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, which was well received by both reviewers and moviegoers. In the most recent Thor adventure, Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as the titular Norse god and is compelled to work with Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster to combat Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher. Thor: Love and Thunder have received more negative reviews than Thor: Ragnarok due to its unclear tone and excessive dependence on humor.

On July 8, Thor: Love and Thunder debuted in theatres to a strong $144.2 million domestic box office debut, recently surpassing Thor: Ragnarok. Thor: Love and Thunder have been praised for how it handled Portman’s Mighty Thor plotline and Bale’s compelling villain portrayal, even if it hasn’t generally been as highly reviewed as Thor: Ragnarok. The release date for Thor: Love and Thunder on streaming services have been made public for people who enjoyed the movie and want to watch it again at home.

Thor: Love and Thunder will go live for streaming on September 8 as Disney+ Day, according to Disney+. The day’s premieres on the streaming service include Pinocchio, the Frozen and Frozen 2 Sing-Along, and many others, in addition to Thor: Love and Thunder.

It’s important to note that Thor: Lover and Thunder’s theatrical window is substantially longer than that of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness given that a Disney+ streaming release date has been confirmed. The Doctor Strange sequel had a 47-day theatrical window from its May 6 theatrical release through its June 22 Disney+ launch. Despite having a far smaller window before coming on streaming, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness outperformed Thor: Love and Thunder at the box office, taking in $955 million worldwide to Thor’s $737 million.
