Randall and Deja have a hard time getting along. In the meantime, Randall has a heart-to-heart with his daughter. Randall tells Deja that she won’t be seeing Malik in Boston any time soon.
The episode begins with a flashback to Rockstar Jack standing over a barbecue in the opulent garden of his opulent home. In a throwback to the 1980s, Jack Pearson arrives home late and is disappointed to learn that his children would not be awake that evening.
