The Witcher Season 3 Part 2 features an enormous conflict that results in the deaths of several major characters, giving the show a gloomy and brutal turn. The number of fatalities in Part 2 is greatly beyond that of the other episodes. The information you need is below, however, spoilers are present.

In the final chapter of The Witcher Season 3, while unaware that Emhyr is in possession of the wrong girl, Geralt (Henry Cavill) continues his mission to free Ciri from Nilfgaard. Geralt learns from Yennefer that she can heal him following his nearly deadly encounter with Vilgefortz in Episode 6, as well as the unfavorable information that Emhyr possesses Ciri.

In a moment of brilliance, Cavill’s Geralt beats up a swarm of troops for their abuses of authority, displaying his dedication to standing up for the innocent even when Ciri’s life is ostensibly at stake.

Several important figures die during the Thanedd Coup, a crucial conflict between rival forces on the Continent. Filavandrel, Artorius, Rience, Tissaia played by MyAnna Buring, and King Vizimir played by Ed Birch are among the dead.

A pivotal event from Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher book series is The Thanedd Coup. The magicians have divided loyalties, with some siding with the North and others with Nilfgaard. There are other alliances looking for Ciri and her Elder Blood, including the elves working with Nilfgaard. In order to destabilize the Northern Kingdoms, Nilfgaardian agents, according to Philippa and Dijkstra, have infiltrated the Brotherhood.

There are various violent clashes that take place during the coup. In an effort to assassinate Francesca, Artorius, motivated by a false sense of security, is stopped by his niece Fringilla, who gravely wounds him. Rience, Vilgefortz’s lackey, is engaged in combat with Yennefer and Ciri, and when Geralt shows up just in time, Rience is put down quickly.

The most stunning passing happens in the season finale when Tissaia commits suicide after feeling guilty and ashamed over being used by Vilgefortz. Aretuza is in ruins as a result of the coup, and Tissaia feels terrible about her mistakes. She leaves a note for Yennefer and the magicians that makes a figurative allusion to her choice.

The Redanian King Vizimir is finally assassinated by a Philippa subordinate. The reasons for this assassination are still unknown, but it is clear that Philippa is orchestrating events to make Prince Radovid the new king in order to forward her own agenda.

With these tragic deaths marking the end of the season, fans are eagerly anticipating Season 4 to learn how the fallout from the coup and the loss of these important individuals will affect the future of The Witcher’s captivating fantasy setting.
