The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 21 Spoilers

The next episode is named “Outpost 22.” In her second project this season, Tawnia McKiernan directed the episode. The story was written by Jim Barnes. The story of The Walking Dead began ten years ago with a guy looking for his family. That family expanded, and towns began to take shape over time. They struggled and triumphed, prospered, and produced a new generation. It is a story about humanity, and there are many more to be told. The Commonwealth is only the most recent—and given that this is the final season, ostensibly the last—agreement to undervalue our heroes, who are now referred to as “exiles,” with the majority of them having been captured, separated from their partners, and sent to a prison work camp. Wait until Carol and Daryl  find out what’s hiding behind those walls as they lead a guerilla uprising to a location only known as “Outpost 22.”

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 20 Recap

Knowing that Lance is the only person who can help them find their missing pals, Carol and Daryl manage to get away from Pamela’s thugs and free him. Sebastian is put down by Daryl when he discovers him in Lance’s cell as a zombie. At the same time, Pamela threatens Tomi and blackmails Yumiko into acting as the prosecutor in Eugene’s mock trial. If Yumiko complies, Pamela will take Yumiko to her friends. Eugene, who has accepted his likely fate, urges Yumiko to have faith in their friends while she struggles with what to do. Yumiko tells the Commonwealth how important Tomi is after learning of Daryl, Carol, and Lance’s escape before shocking everyone by revealing that Pamela is unfairly prosecuting Eugene and that Yumiko will be acting as his defence attorney rather than his prosecutor. Lance discloses that the lost individuals are being employed as slave labour on a project to expand the Commonwealth’s reach across the continent and that there is a supply train that they can follow after eluding a herd and soldiers. Daryl and Carol offer Lance the choice to go into exile because they are tired of his machinations and no longer need his assistance. However, as Lance draws a gun on them, Carol is forced to shoot Lance to death with an arrow.
