If you’ve watched a significant amount of this series over the course of its history, then you likely already have a good concept of how things function in this location. The events that take place in episode 3 are not intended to serve as a conclusion to any of the big stories, but instead to prolong them. We are aware that the length of this final season will not be particularly long; nonetheless, there will still be some standalone stories interspersed throughout it. It is not likely that Red Death will turn out to be the final Big Bad; rather, it is possible that they will pave the way for another adversary. the latter half of the show will also focus on dealing with one more foe. The blue crystal will still come into play, and it will have some sort of connection with the new avatar of the Negative Speed Force, despite the fact that their true identity has not yet been disclosed. It is currently unknown whether or not a reference to this will be made in the initial story arc of the concluding season. The Flash season 9 will, however, get those answers out of the way sooner rather than later because there are only 11 episodes left to air in the show.

The Flash Season 9 Episode 2 Recap

In the opening scene of this episode, Barry and the remainder of the crew are wondering who the guest is. Snow has no idea who she is. She has no history, so she is a blank slate. Mark reveals that Caitlin has died, but that he has a way to bring her back to life. While Mark  orders Team Flash to attempt the process’ reversal, he also surreptitiously attempts to restore Frost, which leads to a further malfunction. They vote on who to revive after learning that it is unable to revive Caitlin and Frost, but finally opt to let Snow make the decision. Chester keeps trying to broach the subject of the kiss with Allegra, but she avoids doing so. Joe and Cecile are attempting to come to terms with Caitlin’s death. Joe wants his family to leave Central City, but Cecile is having second thoughts about this. Barry is decided for the plan to succeed despite his own anguish over the events of their last encounter. Meanwhile, Hartley Rathaway seeks assistance from S.T.A.R. Labs after being assaulted by a new Fiddler. He tries to kill the Fiddler after speaking with Snow, but Flash dissuades him, and they save their crew—which includes his boyfriend Roderick—from a vibrational phase.

Team Flash recognises the Fiddler as Andrea Wozzeck, and they flee with Mercer after he snatches Hartley’s sonic gauntlets. Snow informs Marks that she has decided against returning to the CRC and will instead pursue other options. Caitlin’s decision to do this was her own, she says, and now she won’t back down. Snow also reveals her name to be Khione, the same name Thomas Snow had for his imagined creation. As Khione and Hartley destroy the CRC. This enrages Mark, who swears to avenge Hartley. After that, Team Flash hits up Hartley’s nightclub for some dancing, with Khione even convincing Joe to get down. While Chester and Allegra have yet to exchange words. But Allegra invites him to dance. At the end of the episode, Fiddler and Boomerang use Hartley’s gauntlets to let Red Death escape through the city and stand on a rooftop, where we get our first good look at their suit. Red Death said that Central City would have to pay for whatever The Flash did.
