The eighth season of The Flash is in full swing. In recent years, the show has startled fans by integrating themes from DC. The Flash Season 8 Episode 17 ended with a new speedster.
Who is Meena Dhawan
After advanced technology was stolen from Ivo Labs, Barry Allen spent part of the episode looking down proof of a new speedster. his research turned out to be Dr. Meena Dhawan, a genius scientist whom he recognized right away after The Flash caught her and forced her to reveal herself. Meena claimed that her newfound superspeed was not natural like The Flash’s, but rather was achieved through the use of sodium nitrate cells. Meena Dhawan’s speedster persona will be “Fast Track,” and The Flash has joyfully offered to be a mentor to him.
Another speedster has joined The Flash and played Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous (Yasmina) star Kausar Mohammed who will join the series in a recurring capacity. She makes her series debut with The Flash Season 8 Episode 17 and fans will have to wait and see what her position on the show includes.
This version of Meena will take on the Fast Track character, according to Deadline. “A titan in the scientific community,” they say, “who effectively blends her appetite for boundary-pushing scientific experimentation with a strong moral compass.” Dhawan’s talents inspire him to discover a new way to democratize the gift of super-speed, letting everyone to benefit from the advantages formerly reserved for meta-human speedsters.”
Meena originally appeared in The Flash season 3, created by Joshua Williamson and Neil Googe. After the Speed Force storm gave individuals all across the city powers, Meena, a scientist, and former ARGUS employee became the head of STAR Labs’ Speed Force testing center. Meena became an ally and even a love interest of Barry’s under the superhero moniker Fast Track, and the two fought Black Hole and Godspeed together. Meena resurfaced as a Black Hole agent indoctrinated by Grodd after being assumed dead, and was finally liberated by Barry and returned to work at STAR Labs.
