“Death and the Maiden” is the title of the 16th episode of the fifth season of Station 19. Andy is in for the battle of her life. After the events of the previous episodes, it’s all about her independence. Her actions were in self-defense. Andy will enter a guilty plea after the trial date is decided. Now she must hope that there is enough proof to show that she acted in self-defense.

Station 19 Season 5, Episode 16 features Andy’s mother. Andy had considerable time to process her mother’s survival after learning that she was alive. In the new episode, Andy’s mother appears. She initially goes to the firehouse, and it’s likely that Sullivan and Vic take her to her daughter. Is Andy’s mother able to assist with the trial in any way? During this time, firemen are battling a fire in a row of townhomes. Because the fire’s fuel is so close, these fires are always difficult to put out. Is anyone going to be in danger?

Andy is fleeing for her life. Travis appears with Theo and the others at the other bar. They’re all debating whether or not Sullivan was sabotaging Beckett. Maya and Carina approach Jack to ask for his sperm, but they are interrupted by Andy. They inquire as to Andy’s well-being. Andy is having flashbacks to her childhood. Where Andy left Jeremy unconscious, Sullivan, Maya, and Vic find him and treat him. Beckett arrives and cautions them that they shouldn’t be treating Andy like this and that the situation is now a mess. Andy has a conversation with the cops. Andy was hurt by a young boy. Her mother warns her not to think that boys do things because they like her and discusses teaching her self-defense.

Sullivan, Maya, and Vic work tirelessly to keep Jeremy alive. Because the officers don’t seem to comprehend it and are heartless, Ben needs to help advocate for Andy and talk them through the sexual assault process. Carina is angry because Andy fought back when it happened to her, but she didn’t. Carina and Helmdo put Andy to the test. At the bar, Theo and Travis talk, and Travis reminds Theo of Andy’s difficult job at the firehouse. Andy’s mother and father dispute in flashbacks about her training Andy in self-defense because it happened to them. Jeremy is unable to make it. Detectives arrive at Andy’s station to speak with him. They’re homicide victims. Sullivan informs her that they are on their way to speak with her. Andy needs a lawyer after the cops question her. Beckett dismisses them. Travis and Theo arrive intoxicated and apologize, making everyone laugh until Andy sobs. Jack enters and holds Andy, while the rest of the group enters and sleeps in her room. Jack accepts to donate his sperm. Sullivan and Beckett are locked in combat. Andy is apprehended.
