First ‘Pinocchio 2022’ trailer shows Tom Hanks wishing upon a star

Pinocchio 2022

A video for Robert Zemeckis’ Pinocchio was released throughout the platform’s social media channels on 31 May, teasing the latest Disney+ remake.

The film, which will combine live-action and computer animation, will tell the same story as Disney’s original 1940 cartoon. It follows Gepetto, alone woodcarver. Gepetto is visited by The Blue Fairy, who brings Pinocchio to life after he carves a puppet of a young boy named Pinocchio.

You might get the first teaser trailer for Disney’s live-action “Pinocchio” if you wish upon a star. However, you won’t be able to see Pinocchio in the footage just yet.

Tom Hanks as Gepetto is hard at work in the first-look footage, accompanied by his beloved cat Figaro. He’s working on the soon-to-be renowned puppet Pinocchio, but he’s lonely as usual. As a result, we see him begin to formulate his final request. But, before we see the puppet come to life, we meet Jiminy Cricket, his conscience. Pinocchio isn’t even seen in the footage, save from his hand. Instead, spectators are treated to a sneak peek at all of his upcoming escapades as seen through the eyes of Jiminy Cricket. Cynthia Erivo as the Blue Fairy, on the other hand, is someone we do get to see. We even get a few bars of her singing “When You Wish Upon a Star,” a Disney classic.

When Will Pinocchio 2022 Be Released?

Pinocchio will be accessible to stream for global audiences on Disney+ on September 8, 2022, in conjunction with the release of the teaser.
