In The Dark Season 3 (2019) Episode 7 Recap

At the beginning of episode 7 of In the Dark, a man from Mexico was looking for Josiah. Felix, on the other hand, was certain that Josiah (Maurice Compte) had kidnapped Jess (Brooke Markham). Josiah informs his wife that he is being pursued by the murderers. Felix believes that returning to the border is the only option, and this is where they will be able to find Jess. As a result, they decide to hide with Felix’s sister, where they encounter Max, who has been hiding there for some time.

Calling Murphy  (Perry Mattfeld)  receives an unexpected answer from Jess. With Jean’s promotion as Chief of Detectives, he is eager to jail the Chief and enlists Sarah’s help. They make sure to do their bit to catch him. Trey (Dewshane Williams) is asked by Felix and Murphy to find Jess. Trey rekindles his friendship with Murphy before heading to Josiah’s house to visit his family. While questioning Josiah’s wife for a location, Murphy drops several truth bombs on him.

Josiah’s wife is subjected to moderate torture by Murphy and Trey until Josiah himself intervenes. Josiah claims he has no knowledge of Jess. After killing Josiah’s wife, a gang suddenly surrounds everyone. The group also wants Josiah’s children, but Max is able to help them escape. A gang member is seen holding Felix’s sister’s gun. Josiah praises Murphy, Trey, and Max for protecting their children, but he doesn’t know who Jess is.

Jean and Sarah’s team begin their search for Murphy but instead search for Jess’s location. Leslie receives the same information at the same time and informs Felix. The fight against time begins, and Felix manages to defeat the police at the motel. Only to find out that it is not Jess who is carrying her passport, but someone else. Murphy, on the other hand, realizes that Jennifer Walker needs to be found in order to find Jess.
