Murphy and Leslie working together demonstrated. Leslie even reached a point where she and Murphy could joke about Max, and after what had happened, she didn’t seem to detest Murphy as much. Leslie’s agreement with Paula was about to be revealed, so she wasn’t carrying that burden alone. Given that Paula’s paranoia had grown out of hand. Leslie’s refusal to put herself out there and risk her safety in order to access Paula’s phone was understandable. But the antics that followed as they all came up with a scheme. Darnell made a triumphant comeback at that hour as well. Even still, the idea to roofie Paula and getting access to her phone was quite crazy. Darnell and Murphy are to solve the mystery and find leads on their own. Leslie’s presence made things messier. she had already begun to do when she struck that contract and risked her livelihood in order to save Felix. But their roofie plan failed.

When Leslie witnessed Jake bringing a woman home to assault her, it alarmed her. Her belief in him and the fact that he got away with his first crime and continued to do more disgusted her. Regarding how much faith she places in other people, Leslie had to face some painful truths. She put the events between Max and Murphy together and didn’t appear surprised. Darnell used his knowledge and quick thinking to save Leslie before Paula killed her. Darnell still recalled his past as a narcotics dealer. Leslie gave Murphy a real hug when she got home. The killing of Paula by whatever it was, though, was the most stunning event of the hour. The boss thinks of Murphy and Darnell. It was stupid not to think that someone would appear at the scene and take pictures of Murphy and Darnell. Murphy and Darnell are now in jeopardy. Paula’s passing is also a shock. She would have been their main point of contact with the Big Boss, and we are sure the police wanted her alive in order to question her and extract all the necessary information.
