Angela is awakened by Tyrique. She drives him away before they are discovered, knowing that if her family finds out about her sexual life, they will be ashamed. Angela hopes to invite Nikki to Leah’s cotillion, which the Dupont family is looking forward to. Angela agrees to speak with her mother about it because she needs the expertise to get into a good college. According to the host, Leah, admittance to the cotillion would cost her $25,000.In other news, Leah pays a visit to Teddy, and the two talk about the prospect of Tyrique abandoning the family. Taylor apologizes to Nikki for ghosting her a few days before the occasion.
Tyrique agrees to take Nikki to the event. but he reveals that Leah had been spying on him, which initially disappoints Angela. But they make up soon after, and he promises to pay for Nikki’s admission. After failing to get Leah to speak about Teddy, Raymond investigates her computer and discovers the information he needs.
