Only Murders in the Building Season 2 Episode 6: Bloody Mabel Set Up!

When we started watching Only Murders in the Building season 2 episode 6, we were aware that it would feature a significant amount of Cinda Canning (Tina Fey). On the other hand, there were some aspects of the story that we’re not entirely evident, such as its format or the lengths to which she would go in order to obtain a story.

Cinda Canning  and her aide Poppy (Adina Verson) have a new dimension in the sixth episode, “Performance Review.” Mabel is being drawn further and further into the plot to blame her for killing Bunny.  That, however, began to be a little bit apparent as the program came to a close since it looks as though she established “Bloody Mabel” aboard the subway, or did she not?

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 Episode 7 Recap

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 Episode 6 Recap: Who is the Killer?

Just at end of the episode of OMITB, Poppy called Mabel to give her a stern warning about how her boss has no issue lying and doing anything she can to frame a narrative in a specific way. Poppy warned her in the strongest words possible that her supervisor has no problem lying. After being tricked into believing that she would receive a promotion, she is prepared to betray her boss. We are aware that Cinda has previously insulted Mabel in a recent podcast, so putting a hazardous individual on a train in order to capture Mabel fighting back is merely another potential loophole.

She reportedly “stabs” a man in the subway after fleeing the gallery, only for the video to go viral very fast. According to what the internet appears to believe, Bloody Mabel is at it again. After watching the video, even Charles and Oliver are visibly shaken, which results in a really sweet, slightly awkward, anxious hug between them.

Who was it then, if not Cinda, who was in charge of hiring this unknown individual? In what way does she have a connection to the detective, or to the person who the other three individuals believed to be the detective and with whom they were texting? The fact that the detective in Denver went missing merely adds another strange twist to the whole situation, and it is something else that we will need to consider over the course of the next week.
