One Piece Episode 1022 Recap

In One Piece Episode 1022, Hyogoro showed off his actual might. In some aspects, Hyogoro is comparable to Rayleigh, an elder mentor figure who aids Luffy in unlocking Haki/Ryou and moving on to the next stage of his development. He quickly slew multiple foes on the Live Floor using his sword skills. Marco the Phoenix is keeping King and Queen busy in the meantime. The latter has done an outstanding job of deterring them for the time being. This won’t continue for very long, though. The journey into the castle is still being made by Perospero.

Hyogoro has always been a more sorrowful figure. He has a more solemn demeanor as a result of his protracted captivity as well as the terrible things that happened to him during Kaido and Orochi’s capture of Wano. Even Luffy’s development under his instruction has been somewhat bittersweet because of an underlying sense of desperation in him. As he battles the illness he can’t seem to fight, 1022 provides us a suitable finish, or finality, to his story. Although Chopper is working as hard as he can, success might not be without cost. Hyogoro is aware that Wano cannot escape the clutches of tyranny unhurt.
