Unfortunately, some of those fears came true in the final minutes of This Is Us season 6 episode 15 aired on May 3 heartbreaking show. We had to mentally prepare ourselves for Miguel’s death when we watched.

This Is Us Season 6 Episode 15 Recap: ‘Miguel’ A Heart Touching Story

Miguel resumed his daily routine with a newly reconstructed hip. He would take care of Rebecca every morning before her nurse arrived. In his later years, One night, Miguel learns Rebecca is missing from bed and he finds her dancing in the snow outdoors, perplexed. Miguel tries to persuade her to come inside but he stumbles on the ice.  He sits her on the couch and lays his head on her lap, falling asleep. Miguel is injured from the fall when the Big three arrive for Thanksgiving. When the Big three ask the nurse about Miguel’s back problems, she tells them about his fall.   his body was starting to fail him; he was at risk of heart failure, had already had a hip replaced, and was having trouble with the day-to-day components of his life. The Big Three had already hired a live-in nurse to make life easier for everyone, and it had worked to some extent for a while. Miguel had no choice but to accept it.

In his farewell, he was given his due. Kevin made sure that he reconciled with his estranged son, and Kevin all recognized how much Miguel cared for them. Kevin scatters some of his ashes near the tree, while his kid scatters others in a nearby field where he once played.. Miguel experienced a sense of serenity as he approached death, and he had the opportunity to live a full life. Rebecca adored him and was completely reliant on him in his later years. She never forgot him. In the end, it was a heart-touching tale. As we approach the show’s final three episodes, if it was Miguel’s farewell, he will be missed as any Pearson.
