‘Home Alone’ actor arrested in Oklahoma

Devin Ratray, who starred in the film “Home Alone,” surrendered to police in Oklahoma on Wednesday after being accused of beating his fiancée, according to police. Ratray, who played Buzz McAllister’s elder brother in the 1990 Christmas film, was freed from jail immediately after his arrest on two domestic assault and battery charges, according to authorities.

Ratray, 44, was in Oklahoma City earlier this month for an event dubbed “Buzzed with Buzz,” which was advertised as a film showing followed by a Q&A session with Ratray. Ratray is accused of choking his girlfriend and said, “This is how you die,” according to an affidavit obtained by Oklahoma City TV station KFOR.

Mr. Ratray’s attorney, Scott Adams, stated, “Mr. Ratray denies ever laying a hand on her or doing anything in relation to anything like that.”
