High School Musical The Musical Season 2 Episode 10 Recap

In the previous episode, the Wildcats hold a dress rehearsal. But things go horribly wrong. Nini (Olivia Rodrigo), proposes that the Wildcats split into separate sleepovers in order to generate new ideas. These sleepovers reveal hidden secrets and big revelations among the group. Because of the events during spring break, Carlos (Frankie Rodriguez) and Seb are now avoiding one another. Nini discovers that Gina (Sofia Wylie) thought Ricky (Joshua Bassett) sent her Valentine’s Day chocolates and confronts Gina about it. Ricky listens as EJ (Matt Cornett) talks about his past with Nini. Ricky gets a call from an unexpected source.

Seb and Carlos’ dilemmas are a testament to the support system they have in the Wildcats drama club. HSMTMTS has done an amazing job in creating it. This episode shows Ricky’s potential for a new beginning. Still dealing with the aftermath of his split with Nini. This episode does an amazing job of showing how he has grown from the original song “Let You Go” by not sharing it with Nini. Carlos however takes the first step, and with some help from Ricky, he writes a song about his feelings for Seb. As part of the new stage setup, Ricky is now wearing a suspension. He collapses on the ground after only a few seconds.
