Fifth Harmony is preparing for a long-awaited reunion — but one member won’t be joining them. Sources close to the matter have revealed that the popular girl group is in talks to reunite, and the comeback will feature all original members except Camila Cabello.
The group, which began on the TV competition show The X Factor in 2012, originally included Camila Cabello, Normani, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui. Together, they quickly rose to fame with hit songs and platinum-selling albums like Reflection and 7/27. Their biggest hit, “Work From Home” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, remains a fan favorite and currently has more than 1.5 billion streams on Spotify.
Camila Cabello shocked fans when she exited the group in 2016 to pursue a solo career. With hits like “Havana” and “Señorita,” she’s become famous all over the world since then. The four remaining members kept going as a group, even putting out an album called Fifth Harmony in 2017 with their own name on it. But in 2018, they said they were taking a break for good to focus on their own music careers.
Each member has worked on their own projects since the break. Normani got a lot of attention for songs like “Motivation” and “Love Lies” with Khalid. Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui all put out music and talked to their fans in different ways. Normani’s debut album Dopamine dropped recently, and fans noticed the show of support from her former bandmates — sparking rumors of a potential reunion. While some reports had denied those rumors at the time, things have now changed.
According to insiders, Fifth Harmony is now working on a new documentary that will capture their journey back to the stage. The project is expected to include behind-the-scenes footage of a planned tour and will honor the group’s milestone — the 10-year anniversary of their hit album 7/27 and the release of “Work From Home.”
The reunion plans are reportedly being led by Will Bracey, who is married to Ally Brooke. Bracey is the chief operating officer for Justin Bieber’s family office and is believed to be overseeing the group’s comeback efforts. Details about management and tour dates are still under wraps.
While Camila Cabello won’t be part of the reunion, the remaining four members — Normani, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui — are ready to reconnect with fans and celebrate the legacy they built together. Their return is set to be a major moment for pop fans and a celebration of everything they accomplished as a group.
