FBI: Most Wanted Season 4 Episode 4 Recap

Lydia Washburn escaped a shallow grave and had her neck slashed. She died at a hospital from her wounds. Only the detectives didn’t require her to name names before she died. Her killer was known. They just got a photo of the back of the killer’s neck, although he had supper with her earlier that night. “56 rider” was tattooed. A man who stole historical records from the National Archives was involved. The FBI was involved to retrieve such materials. Filler murder. To determine what was stolen, the FBI contacted the National Archives. They lacked Knights of the Golden Circle pamphlets. The pro-Confederate organization believed in a backup plan if they lost the civil war. They wanted to smuggle gold to Cuba to revive the pro-slavery movement. The scheme failed. Historians assume they quit. They thought these folks were so discouraged after the war that they gave up and canceled all their plans, but that wouldn’t explain why someone in current times would steal the pamphlets. Hanna found something about their killer/thief. She discovered that the killer was a white nationalist, hence the tattoo. She even identified the perpetrator. Oxridge was Lennard. Lydia died from Oxridge. The National Archives was robbed. But when they went to question him, they discovered him bleeding on the floor. He was assaulted. Remy pursued the perpetrator and tragically lost him.

Oxridge perished from his wounds, so he wasn’t helpful either. After two murders, the squad suspected what happened. Remy and his crew investigated Oxridge’s links. They discovered he spent a lot of time with two brothers, Tommy and Buck. They were warned by the brothers. Gold was sought. Not just gold. nevertheless. The confederacy’s backup plan failed due to a lack of gold. They lost their gold during shipping, therefore treasure hunters are seeking for it. For it, they would kill. After finding the gold, Lydia was slain. She had gold-hunting equipment as a professor. They told the FBI everything. They also took them to the cave where the gold was believed to be buried, where they met someone else seeking for it. A teen. The girl claims she located the cave first and has first dibs. Remy told her otherwise. The girl’s guardians were consulted. Family. They said they found the cave first and received the park ranger’s finder’s fee.

However, the park ranger cannot grant them a finder’s fee. He told them to delay permits that would never come. Lydia and Oxridge were killed by the park ranger. Thus preventing the Thorne brothers from reaching the treasure, the park warden was responsible. Named Toby. Toby has been monitoring the cave investigation. Surveillance cameras and booby traps were installed. The FBI discovered that day that Toby was willing to kidnap and hold a teenage girl. That grotto was off limits to Sadie. The FBI was told to stay too. America. The location was occupied by Treasury. All the gold will be theirs. But the gold wasn’t there. Toby’s security cameras caught Sadie the adolescent transferring gold out of the cave for weeks. Sadie had the gold, he knew. It’s why he abducted her. He was pounding her for information when the FBI interfered. Toby didn’t kill Sadie. The new teammate killed Toby with a sniper shot. Sadie’s secret remained. Sadie found the gold, but Remy wouldn’t inform the treasury agents.
