What is The Stranded 2019 about?

The series follows 18-year old Kraam who is one of a group of students from an elite private high school that are on a remote island in the Andaman Sea for a school trip. When a devastating tsunami strikes he is left with 36 others to try and survive. However, when mysterious events start happening on the island, it quickly becomes clear that no one is coming to rescue them and Kraam must lead the students to rescue themselves.

Netflix confirmed at the start of 2019 that the new Thai series The Stranded season 1 would be released on November 2019. On October 15, Netflix has announced the date of series with a tagline Watch The Stranded this November 15, finds out what happens to them on the island.
