Chris Kattan’s Exit from Celebrity Big Brother 3: Why Did He Leave?

It was evident heading into tonight’s Celebrity Big Brother 3 episode on CBS that Comedian Chris Kattan would be departing the game. He left the live feeds a few days ago and has subsequently posted on social media.  He exits ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ after 2 weeks in the house.

What wasn’t entirely evident going into tonight’s episode was why he chose to leave, though it was simple to come up with some possibilities. He wasn’t familiar with the game prior to playing it, so we’re not sure he understood what to anticipate. He was never fully immersed in the game and struggled to stay in the house. He even requested to be evicted rather than Mirai Nagasu, but the other players decided to keep him, presumably since he would eventually want to leave anyway.

With all of this knowledge, it’s simple to infer Kattan dropped out of the game because he didn’t enjoy it. Is it aggravating when someone leaves on their own? Sure, but this isn’t your average Big Brother season. It’s not uncommon for someone to leave the celebrity edition, and if the program returns, there’s a high possibility we’ll see it again in the future.

Kattan’s absence from the streams will be missed, but it seemed inevitable that he would go at some point. As the program airs tonight, we’ll have more on the real exit.

What was he said about his departure?

On Day 15, he opted to leave the contest. Really, in a subdued manner. He stated that he was experiencing trouble at home since he hadn’t been feeling well, and we believe that had a part in it. Kattan didn’t truly leave, as far as we could tell. Instead, he proceeded to the Diary Room and that was the end of it, with the exception of a video message to address his exit later.

Christopher Lee Kattan (born October 19, 1970) is an actor, comedian, and author from the United States. He is most recognized for his roles as Bob on The Middle for the first four seasons and as Bunnicula in Bunnicula. Kattan starred in “The Wedding Bride,” a fake movie within the show, in an episode of How I Met Your Mother. He had a cameo appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s Saturday Night Live Christmas special, as well as a quick appearance on the final episode of SNL’s 37th season. Kattan competed on season 24 of Dancing with the Stars in 2017, partnering with professional dancer Witney Carson. He was the first celebrity dancer to be eliminated from the competition. Kattan was named as a HouseGuest for Celebrity Big Brother’s third season in 2022.
