Gigi Raymond, who is popular on social media, is making a video of herself outside of the courtroom. When the accused, Tyler Pierce, says he never attacked her, chaos starts to happen. Sara is scared of the circus, so she rushes Gigi inside. Emily learns how to play basketball from Luke. They try to get together, but she tells them to just be friends. Mark says to Luke that the Tyler Pierce case is tough. Amy says she wants to make a deal to plead guilty to simple battery. Mark hires a young assistant to be his second chair, and the young man turns out to be helpful. Teddy Biswas, who works for him, gets the plea bargain thrown out and sets a court date. Lola tells Mark and Amy that they can’t survive together during the trial once things get going. Emily gets together with Edith Vasquez to talk about how holistic law works. Mark tries to get Gigi to show weakness in court, but she gets mad at him. Sara makes some progress by persuading her that some of her supporters may have also been attacked, so if she tells the truth, it will help them. Edith tells Emily that it will be hard to get an organisation to help her. When Gigi is on the hold, she says that she and Tyler had rough play, but when he hit her and choked her, it went too far. Amy asks Gigi about some sexually explicit texts she sent to the defendant. Gigi goes out with Amy. Mark talks to a psychologist about how victims of domestic violence feel after an attack and if abusers can seem nice. Teddy finishes the case . Tyler and Amy looked nervous, but they won the case anyway. Amy threw a party for Ness to help her practice law, but then she got her results. She was wrong.
