9-1-1 Season 7 Episode 8 Preview: Bobby Confronts His Past

The next episode of 9-1-1 is called “Step Nine,” and it’s about Bobby’s past in a way he didn’t expect. While the 118 has dealt with the fallout of traumatic events before, this time it’s different for Bobby (Peter Krause).

The episode shows Bobby’s sad past, especially how hard it is for him to make up for mistakes he has made in the past. Dr. Amir [Malcolm-Jamal Warner] is a new character who was introduced in the last show. He has a long history with Bobby that goes back many years. Dr. Amir’s face has a scar from a fire, and just seeing him makes Bobby think of the terrible apartment fire that killed his family.

In the promo, Dr. Amir talks to an AA group about how the fire changed his life. The preview makes it sound like Dr. Amir blames Bobby for the fire, which will cause a fight between the two men. Bobby has worked very hard to fix his life and make things right. Now he has to face the terrible truth about his past.

9-1-1 S07.E08 Synopsis:- After a victim of the apartment fire that changed Bobby’s life resurfaces, he searches to make amends. Driven by his need to right past wrongs, Bobby delves deep into memories of his childhood, unearthing moments from his fractured past.

Other people in the 118 are also dealing with their own demons from the past while Bobby is going through this mental turmoil. Eddie is still having problems with how he feels about his ex-wife, while Maddie is faced by her ex-husband. Bobby will have to think a lot about himself in this show, and it will test how strong he is in the face of his painful past.

In episode 7 “A Ghost of a Second Chance,” Eddie (Ryan Guzman) and Marisol (Edy Ganam) decide to take their relationship more slowly after deciding not to move in together. Even though they made this choice, the couple and Eddie’s son Christopher (Gavin McHugh) enjoy time together by going for ice cream runs and exploring Los Angeles.

Things take a surprising turn, though, when Eddie sees a shop owner who looks a lot like his late wife Shannon. Eddie notices the woman, who is played by Devin Kelly with slightly lighter hair for this part. They look at each other for a moment before Eddie quickly goes back to Marisol’s side.

Eddie can’t help but be curious, so he goes back to the shop later. He starts talking to the woman, and she says her name is Kim…. They flirt with each other, but Eddie doesn’t bring up Marisol, and he leaves the store with keychains for himself and Christopher but not for Marisol.

It seems like Eddie is remembering Shannon more and more as the show goes on. A flashback shows Eddie and Shannon talking, and Eddie says he’s ready to bring Shannon back into Christopher’s life even though they’ve been apart. This is a scene that fans had not seen before. In the present, however, it’s clear that Eddie is thinking about this moment while having dinner with Marisol.

Eddie lies and says he is present when Marisol sees him being distracted and asks where he went. This choice points to a bigger problem between Eddie and Marisol, which becomes clearer in the last few scenes of the show.

Eddie tells Buck (Oliver Stark) that he has to go on a date with Marisol and drops Christopher off at his place. But when he gets to the restaurant, it turns out that Kim is going to be his dinner partner. At the end of the episode, Eddie and Kim give each other compliments, which suggests that Eddie’s friendship with Marisol might become more complicated.

Eddie’s personal life will change in the future because of this episode. Ryan Guzman says Eddie’s understanding about how fast his relationship with Marisol is moving is a big step forward in his growth. Eddie’s biggest concern is still Christopher, and what he does with Kim could have long-lasting effects on his family.
