Last year the celebrations were called off due to social distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic. For the time being, be ready to take a look at it once again with eye-catching fireworks and glare amidst the facilities. Washington, DC, Boston, and New York are the three cosmopolitan performances that are worth seeing for those who are just too uncomfortable to venture out. The Jonas Brothers, Blake Shelton and More Stars Join NBC’s Fabulous 4th of July Fireworks

NBC’s annual Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Specular announced its star-studded lineup of hosts and performers, including the Jonas Brothers. Hosted by New Amsterdam’s Ryan Eggold and Girls5ava star Renée Ellis Goldsberry, the Fourth of July event will see Blake Shelton, the Jonas Brothers, Reba McEntire, Coldplay, Black Pumas, and One Republic join the A-list cast. The two-hour-long party will be telecast on Sunday, July 4 at 8 pm. on NBC. Fans can also tune in at 10 pm. For a one-hour repeat presentation. Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular will air on Sunday, July 4 at 8 p.m. on NBC.

Scheduled for Sunday, July 4th, at 9 p.m., Thunder on the Mountain is being called Alabama’s biggest Fourth of July celebration. The display will take place over Vulcan Park and Museum.

The Durham Bulls are celebrating with post-game fireworks shows on Saturday, July 3 and Sunday, July 4 presented by Carolina Packers.


The 2021 Fourth of July celebration includes national recording artist and legendary band Foreigner, performances by the 82nd Rock Band and a local rock band, The Fifth.

There will also be a parachute demo from the Golden Knights Parachute Team, a flag ceremony, and lights in the sky from fireworks.

Capacity inside the venue will be limited to a total of 7,000 guests at one time.

The Holly Springs celebration will take place at Jefferson L. Sugg Farm at Bass Lake Park on Monday, July 5. The celebration kicks off at 6 p.m. at Sugg Farm, 2401 Grigsby Ave. Hotdogs, ice cream, tacos, bbq, funnel cakes and more will be available from 20 various food trucks and concessionaires. The firework show will start around at 9:15 p.m.

The Fireworks Spectacular will happen Saturday, July 3. The event is free and open to the public and will take place inside Husky Stadium on the campus of Heritage High School, 1150 Forestville Road. Gates will open at 7:30 p.m. and the fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Dana Point
For the beach areas of Orange County, nothing beats a fireworks show at Dana Point. Launched from a barge in the water in front of Doheny State Beach at 9 p.m., the air display will be visible from shore, from the cliffs above Dana Point Harbor, from private boats and private cruises. The city has confirmed that the annual fireworks show starting at Fisherman’s Wharf will take place on Sunday, July 4 – but details have yet to be announced. Evanston has canceled its traditional fireworks show, but nearby Lake Forest is holding its 16th Annual Festival and Fireworks on Sunday, July 4, at Deerpath Community Park. Tickets are on sale for the event, which includes live music and a fireworks display at 9:40 p.m.

West Des Moines will hold its annual Independence Day festivities, including a free fireworks display launching from WDM City/School Campus on Sunday, July 4, at 9:30 p.m. ( Not  fireworks display at Racoon River Park this year.)

Storm Lake
Nearly 500 fireworks will fill the sky over Storm Lake as part of the city’s Star-Spangled Spectacular celebration. The two-day event held Saturday, July 3, and Sunday, July 4, includes food, music, and family activities and concludes with the huge fireworks display at dusk on Independence Day.

 Kansas City
One of the city’s biggest fireworks displays each year is held at Berkley Riverfront Park as part of KC RiverFest. The free celebration begins at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 4, with the fireworks scheduled to start between 10 and 11 p.m.

The Red, White, and BOOM! Fireworks will be launched over the Arkansas River on Sunday, July 4, at the Riverfront Stadium. Gates open for the free event at 5:30 p.m., with the fireworks display scheduled for 9:50.

Bowling Green
The annual Thunderfest Independence Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 3, at the National Corvette Museum. Gates open at 4 p.m., with music, children’s activities, and other attractions available up until the fireworks display around 9:30. Admission is $25 per carload (to benefit local childrens’ charities), and tickets can be purchased here.

The Uncle Sam Jam is a family-friendly day of music, food, and fun at Lafreniere Park in Metairie, concluding with a fireworks show at 9 p.m. Taking place on Saturday, July 3, this year marks the celebration’s 25th anniversary. The event is free, but different premium parking packages are available.

Bar Harbor
The city’s Independence Day celebration starts with a parade in the morning on Sunday, July 4, and ends with a spectacular fireworks display taking place over the downtown waterfront at Frenchman Bay at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Sunday, July 4. You can get details here.

After being canceled last year due to the pandemic, Portland’s annual Fourth of July celebration will return with a fireworks display off the Eastern Promenade on Sunday, July 4, at 9: 15 p.m. However, no other public events will be held this year, like the usual performance by the Portland Symphony Orchestra. The fireworks will be visible from surrounding areas, and the city is exploring a live-stream option.

In the downtown lakefront area, a 22-minute fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:20 p.m. at Lake Kittamaqundi on Sunday, July 4. There won’t be any bands, food trucks, or other entertainment at this year’s events, but residents are welcome to place blankets down to save a spot starting at 3 p.m.

The annual fireworks from Fairgrounds Park will light up the sky for 30 minutes starting at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 4. No vendors or additional entertainment will be available at this year’s event, but spectators can bring their own refreshments to the park, along with chairs and blankets. The air show will be visible from points around the Fairgrounds as well.

Ocean City
